Second Step to a Brighter Future is a 501c3 organization located in Chicago, Illinois. The organization exists to support individuals returning home from correctional control situations perpetuated through the criminal legal system.

Second Step to a Brighter Future provides housing support through “community living” and onsite case management services. Rental agreements and general reentry goals are established upon admission to “community living”.

Case management services include but are not limited to access to CLD training and employment placement, expungement/sealing assistance, referrals to supportive community services, and general employment referrals.
